Founded in 1983, the Modular Building Institute is a non-profit trade association serving the commercial factory-built buildings industry throughout North America and Internationally. The MBI Awards of Distinction is the commercial modular industry's premiere awards program. Modular and mobile buildings entries are temporary, permanent, and renovated modular buildings. A new green building design category gives both MBI members and post-secondary students the opportunity for world-class recognition. Building entries are judged on architectural excellence, technical innovation, cost effectiveness, energy efficiency, and calendar days to complete. Green building designs are judged on eight criteria, from comfort and energy strategies to economic practicality. At the Annual Convention and Trade Show, the Modular Building Institute presents numerous awards to the modular building industry. We are proud recipients of the Awards of Distinction. |
